Feeling of Emptiness

Oh my goodness, I really want to start taking pictures again.
I’ve been so MIA from the photography world.

Anyway, here is my favorite picture in recent memory. Oh, what’s that? A whiff of life in this photoblog?

UC Riverside acts2fellowship Connect (Part 1)

Got back from acts2fellowship Connect at UC Riverside. We were there from Monday to Sunday helping out a2f Riverside.

Here are some highlights through pictures as usual. The rest are on this set. I’ve also uploaded to Facebook, which I usually don’t like to do, but I did on a whim this time around. Anyhow, what follows is a quick summary of what I did there.

Monday
Quick tour then hit up dining halls. Prep work at Hack. More dining halls. Stayed over at Black Oak for the night. Helped organize ride assignments. No real pics from the day.

Tuesday

New ddwai Header

First some random pictures I took yesterday…

It seems I have a red Christmas theme goin’ on. Then there’s this other picture that I took of my sister two nights ago. It was spur of the moment ’cause the house was dark and she was trying to scare me by holding the cell phone up to her face. It ended up being a photoop.

Some heavy post-processing afterward though to give it the ghastly look and to remove the whites of her eyes.

Then there’s this picture, which was not planned to be my new ddwai header, but I liked it so much that I decided to give it a try. I’m using a free trial of Adobe’s Production Suite right now so I have the new Photoshop. I have no idea how to use that thing. This is one of my goals for 2011. Must learn photoshop more.

Anyway, here is a rough image after I added in the text and the blur effects that I wanted.

Note the blurred words :D

Here’s the cropped and inverted image that will actually be used.

That’s that! And random: there are areas that are heated outside the Peet’s in Irvine. So awesome.

Merry Christmas!

I can’t believe 2010 is already coming to an end! This is crazy!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year! See you all in 2011 :D

“I Will Survive” [Bloopers Version]

Here is a behind-the-scenes look at the “I Will Survive” video that was made for Kairos Weekly Announcements. This is a compilation of bloopers and it should be interesting for you to try to notice how each scene developed as it was practiced. :D

My Day In Three Pictures
